Julie Miller Sensini, Kmart’s General Manager of Apparel and Design said in a statement: "We are proud to launch Sundream, a collection that incorporates learnings from the past year to infuse happiness into every day.

"Designed in Australia during lockdown, the use of colour in the range was a key focus alongside textures, patterns and silhouettes aimed at cultivating joy as we begin to emerge from our homes and embrace the warmer weather."

Sustainability is also a very important aspect to the range with recycled materials that use less energy and water than other materials.

"This collection continues to elevate Kmart’s sustainability credentials, with a strong focus on incorporating materials that reduce our environmental footprint," Lucy King, Kmart’s Sustainable Materials Manager, explained.

"This season, we’re particularly excited about our new swimwear range that incorporates recycled polyester made from reclaimed materials such as unwanted plastic bottles and textile waste. We are reducing our reliance on finite resources as well as keeping waste out of landfill, ensuring our community can shop on-trend styles that are kinder to the planet."

With the release of the new Sundream collection, Kmart is delivering another free fashion Masterclass on Wednesday 20 October at 7:30pm AEDT, you can register here.
