Khloe Kardashian has sent fans into a frenzy over her latest photoshoot for Sorbet magazine, with many saying the ‘airbrushed’ snaps make her look unrecognisable. The reality TV star was labelled as “tragic” and “horrifying” by followers for allowing her photos to be heavily edited.
The mum of two shared the photos from her Prada shoot on Instagram, where she sported her usual honey-brown hair but added stylish bangs to the mix. In one shot, the 38-year-old is seen sprawled out on a lounge chair and ottoman, with her followers saying she resembles pop singer Taylor Swift.
“Is this Taylor Swift…what is happening,” one person commented.
“This is literally Taylor Swift,” another added.
“Khloe Kardashian (Taylor’s Version),” a third quipped.
Others shared their confusion, saying they didn’t realise it was Khloé in the photos at first.
“Truly had no idea who this was until I looked realllllll close,” a fan remarked.
“Why would you even put your name on these photos? You look completely different,” another pointed out.
“She needs to stop. We don’t recognise her anymore,” a third fired out.
The star shared a behind-the-scenes secret about her new look in one of her Instagram captions, revealing that her fringe was fake.
“Fun fact: I wore clip-on bangs for this shoot. It was fun to give a different look and not be committed. I am surprised with how much I liked the bangs even though they changed the shape of my face, I still liked them. Would you ever get bangs?” she asked fans.
Although her celebrity pals gushed over her “gorgeous” new look, the star was slammed by irate fans who said her photo editors took ‘airbrushing’ too far.
“They totally airbrushed you out of this photo,” a follower wrote.
“Khloe your body image must be tragic if [you’re] photoshopping this much. Tragic and nobody’s buying it,” another commented.
“The amount of touching up or changing is amazing. Look at the size of your ankle bone it’s huge, the shiny stuff, white in colour looks horrifying on your left shoulder.
"Khloé: you need to really look at these pictures, [whoever] is posting has to be blind because the body image you are trying to portray is horrifying. Taking it way too far," a concerned fan added.
