The Kardashian family can always count on one another.

In the March 6 episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 44, revealed the special gift she got sister Khloé for her 40th birthday. Thinking about their best memories growing up, the SKIMS mogul said she remembered a time when Khloé sacrificed everything for her.

“When Khloé was just maybe 4 or 5 years old, she got this piggy bank that was as tall as us, and it was a Coke bottle — we would put so much money in it,” Kim explained. “When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out, and I had no money. I think I was like 21, and she was like, ‘Here, you can have my Coke bottle.’”

Khloé recalled Kim “crying in my room” over her split from her first husband, Damon Thomas, when she realized she had money to give her sister.

“I was just like, ‘Okay. I have this Coke bottle. Let’s take what’s in here, let’s go to the bank and cash it, and let’s use this money for your divorce,’” the Good American founder said.

Kim continued: “We were up all night counting it, and it had $6,000 in it, and it was enough for me to get a down payment on my apartment and pay my first and last month’s rent.”

“I gave her all that I got and hopefully helped her,” Khloé said of the sweet gesture.

In the years since, the Kardashians have become a household name, so Kim decided it was time to repay the favor.

“For [Khloé’s] birthday, I found the same Coke bottle piggy bank, and I filled it up, and I was like, ‘Thank you,’” she shared. “She gave me her life savings at 21 years old.”

They filed for divorce in 2021, but their marriage had been tumultuous for years prior after West’s string of erratic behavior in 2016 strained their relationship. Although she refrains from commenting publicly about the rapper, she has addressed his online attacks and allegations made against her family and loved ones in past episodes of The Kardashians.

"It’s the hardest feeling to watch someone you really loved and you have a family with just be so different than who you knew," she said in July 2023. "Sometimes I feel like if he were to hit rock bottom, that’s his journey that he needs to figure out on his own. I used to run around and call everyone behind his back, and be like, 'It's gonna be OK, it's gonna be OK, don't worry. Just give him another chance.’”

"I just don't have that energy,” the reality star added.
