Kelly Ripa measures Mark Consuelos' tongue on “Live”
Ripa gauged her spouse's tongue after discussing a woman who broke the record for the world's widest female tongue. "What's her email address?" Consuelos asked.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, the morning TV couple you can absolutely count on to spice up your morning during the 9 a.m. hour, have graduated from courting users of WikiFeet to the WikiTongue populace.
The Live cohosts lapped up a comical segment on Wednesday's edition of the talk show, after Ripa brought up a woman who recently broke the record for "widest female tongue in the world."
Ripa cautioned her in-studio audience not to "yuck her yum" after they gasped when the show flashed an image of the woman's tongue, with Consuelos quipping, "I bet you she's really popular on WikiTongue. Is there WikiTongue?"
Ripa added that the woman's tongue measured 7.90 centimeters wide, which equates to about 3.11 inches.
"So, I'd like to measure your tongue. Can I measure?" Ripa asked (naturally). "I just want to see your width!"
The 53-year-old then got out a ruler and held it up to her husband's tongue, as he giddily stuck it out for her. "It's hard with a ruler, I was thinking measuring tape, but yeah, you're like at 3 inches," Ripa confirmed, sharing her scientific findings with the applauding audience.

Consuelos ended the segment by wishing the record-holding woman well. "Good for you. What's her name?" he said, laughing. "What's her email address?"
Ripa's probe into her spouse's mouth came after a string of other bodily endeavors on Live, including a 2023 moment that saw the pair trading on-air foot massages — a piece Ripa dedicated to all of the "WikiFeet weirdos" of the world.
