Yahoo Lifestyle Kelly Ripa Boldly Grills Husband Mark Consuelos About His Taste in Men
Kelly Ripa spent the most recent broadcast of Live with Kelly and Mark nailing down her husband's taste in men.
The television host caught onto the fact that Mark Consuelos called their upcoming guest, Scott Foley, "very handsome" on Monday, Feb. 10, leading to a bold inquisition about her fellow host's "man type."
Per a transcription from Decider, Ripa grilled her husband, “So, Scott Foley is your man type?” As Consuelos hedged around the question, Ripa reaffirmed, “Well, you said he’s handsome.”
An off-camera voice agreed that Foley is unequivocally good looking, but Ripa didn't deny that objective fact.
“No, I know he’s handsome. I’m just...trying to figure out what Mark’s man type is,” she clarified. “Like if you had a man type, you know what I mean?”
Consuelos tried to move on from the conversation, telling his wife he'd "think about" it and "get back to" her on the matter, but Ripa couldn't let it go, dragging Foley into the conversation when he finally joined the pair.
“Did you know Mark thinks you’re handsome?” she quipped in greeting, leading the Scandal alum to tease that Consuelos "out-handsomes [him] everywhere [he] go[es]."
Ripa seemed delighted by the turn of events, joking, “Do you know what we need, is the heart eye emojis coming out of your faces right now.”
“Can we put them on the screen?" Foley asked production. "'Cause that’s how I feel whenever I see the two of you guys.”
It was good timing for the trio's affectionate meeting. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, Live is celebrating “Love Week.”
