Katy Perry announces pregnancy with new music video

Katy Perry has sent fans into an absolute frenzy by not only dropping a new music video but also sharing a huge announcement at the same time.

The 35-year-old singer used the clip for her latest tune ‘Never Worn White’ to also reveal the exciting news that she is pregnant.

“Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer,” she teased on Instagram.

In the clip Katy can be seen wearing a ‘bouquet’ of flowers, as well as an angelic white gown fit for a bride, but the moment that had everybody talking was the shot of her cradling a baby bump.

Once the video had premiered, she took to Twitter to confirm the happy news with fans.

“Omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore,” she wrote.

She also went live on Instagram to show off her bump and share her excitement with her fans.

This will be Katy’s first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, who is already father to nine-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

They started dating in 2016 and became engaged over a year ago in February 2019.

Katy had shared a teaser clip of the music video on her Instagram earlier in the day, which had eagle-eyed fans commenting on the apparent bump.

“I may be wrong.. but is Katy... holding herself like [pregnant emoji]?” one fan asked.

“Is this your pregnancy announcement?” another commented.
