Kathy Hilton is loving her life as a "Kiki!"

While speaking with PEOPLE at the DirecTV x PEOPLE EW Reality TV Party in Los Angeles on Thursday, Sept. 26, the grandmother of eight was jubilant about her family. "We have sleepovers and we make tents in our room," she shares. "Rick and I... and they love it."

This time of life is especially sweet for Hilton, 65, who enjoys time with her entire family together. "Just to be able to step back and watch and have this relationship with these angels. They’re all so different and it’s just a different experience, it’s beautiful," she raves.

Kathy adds, "Nothing makes me Rick and I happier than having my children and all of the grandchildren under one roof, whether it’s a hotel or a house."

The busy grandmother is looking forward to enjoying Halloween — daughter Paris Hilton's favorite holiday — with the pop star mom, 43, husband Carter Reum and their little ones, London, 10 months, and Phoenix, 20 months.

"I'm going to be in New York, and I'm going to come home. I want to go trick or treating with Paris and Carter and Phoenix and London," she says.

When asked for a hint about the kids' costumes, Kathy tells PEOPLE to expect Paris to go all out. "Oh, she’ll have them starting in the next week! They’ll be trying different things every day. It’s her favorite time of year, so.. and I'll just have a sweater on and a big blinking pumpkin."

Paris and her husband welcomed their two children Phoenix and London via surrogate in 2023.

The performer and mom of two recently revealed to PEOPLE following the release of her second album, Infinite Icon, on Sept. 6 that her son “loves” her new record.

"He loves 'Legacy' so much,” Paris said, referring to one of the album tracks. “And London really loves 'Adored.' When I play 'Stay Young,' Phoenix is always having the best time — he just started dancing around and enjoying music."
