Pregnant Meghan Markle 'unsupported' by 'cold' Kate Middleton

Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie has revealed the precise moment Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s relationship was damaged beyond repair.

The bombshell claim was made by the author in a TV interview promoting his new book, which details Harry and Meghan’s brief rise and sudden fall from grace within the royal family.

Talking to True Royalty TV Scobie says Meghan Markle felt unsupported and isolated by Kate in particular.

While she was pregnant and after welcoming Archie, Meghan was thrust into the spotlight more than ever and began receiving negative press over her and Harry’s demands for privacy, particularly over Archie’s private christening and their decision not to appear on the hospital steps after his birth.

She also copped serious criticism after a video allegedly showing her opulent New York baby shower was leaked and slammed for being ‘too Hollywood’ for the royal family.

Scobie claims that during this time Meghan felt lonely and isolated, and perceived Kate to be cold and aloof, where she was hoping for support.

The sentiment came after Meghan initially thought Kate was standoffish rather than welcoming when she first joined the family, but it was during her difficult pregnancy experience that the relationship was damaged beyond repair.

The revelation comes after the author also claimed that the couple’s decision to leave the royal family, making the announcement without consulting the Queen, lead to months of estrangement between William and Harry.

Prince Harry's desperate call to the Queen about Meghan Markle

The author also had royal watchers gobsmacked yesterday with his claims that Harry got into a very vocal disagreement with his grandmother over Meghan’s wedding day tiara.

Prince Harry reportedly called his grandmother, the Queen, to complain after Meghan Markle ran into trouble over her choice of tiara for her wedding day.

It’s long been reported since the couple’s 2018 wedding that Meghan Markle was refused the tiara she ‘had her heart set on’ with Prince Harry allegedly telling palace aides “what Meghan wants, Meghan gets”.

The Queen reportedly was forced to intervene to deny Meghan the tiara, believed to be the Vladimir Kokoshnik tiara, which is covered in emerald jewels.

Meghan eventually rocked up to Windsor Castle wearing the elegant Queen Mary Bandeau, however, in an interview set to air on True Royalty TV, Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie claims there was a lot of drama before the wedding.

According to The Sun, during the interview, Omid reveals that Prince Harry phoned the Queen to complain about ‘tiaragate’.

“Harry had to intervene. He called his grandmother and said, ‘I don’t know what the hell is going on. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife,” The Sun reveals.

“Harry felt that there were those within the institution that would stop at nothing at the very least to make Meghan’s life difficult.

“Meghan didn’t get to try the tiara on again until a few days before the wedding.”
