Former Big Brother UK star and Good Morning Britain personality Narinder Kaur is facing intense backlash online after sharing a 'nasty' post about Kate Middleton on X. The post came after the Princess of Wales was seen at a Remembrance Sunday memorial service in London. It was one of her first official public appearances since announcing she is currently "cancer-free" in September.

Narinder left royal fans stunned when she shared a photo of Kate at the service and wrote, "Genuine question – why has Kate aged so much? Isn't she only 42? Is she a smoker? It's the only explanation."

Many hit back at Narinder, saying the comment was "nasty" and "disgusting", especially given Kate's health struggles this year.

After seeing the initial response to her post, which she has since deleted, she added, "Ok. Seems people took this the wrong way. It was a genuine ask. My brother had chemo. He didn't age. He died. Apologies if it was insensitive or just plain wrong. Hands up. I'm sorry."

"We didn’t take it the wrong way," one user responded. "You were nasty. And you should apologise."

"That was NOT a genuine ask," another hit back. "It was a disgusting swipe and you full well know it."

"Just because you have a personal experience doesn’t mean you can be disrespectful," a third said.

"You hit a new low Narinder - take yourself off here for a while and think about things before tweeting - life’s tough and we don’t all agree on everything but this was terrible," someone else responded.

"It was plain nasty," another added. "Having had a brother who endured chemo and lost his life surely compassion to someone even though they have survived?"

Narinder later shared a video, saying she believes her post was "stupid", adding she didn't intend it to be "malicious or nasty", but said despite "apologising" for the tweet, she has received "disgusting abuse" from other social media users.

"I asked about ageing," she said. "I didn't wish death on anyone, I didn't do anything like that. I asked about aging and if she smoked. Nothing to do with cancer at all."

She continued, saying Kate has "a lot of privilege" to have been able to take time off work while undergoing her cancer treatment, adding, "She's had near enough a year off work."

"My own brother worked up until weeks before he died [of cancer]. So Kate does have a lot of privilege there." Narinder said.

She added that while she wasn't excusing her tweet, it was "absolutely vile" what some people had said to her.

Kate announced she was battling an undisclosed type of cancer in March after getting "major abdominal surgery" in January. In September, the Princess of Wales revealed that after completing chemotherapy, she is now cancer-free.
