"So cute and beautiful ❤️" one person gushed.

"Oh 😍😍😍😍 she’s gorgeous," raved a second Instagram user, with another commenter agreeing, "Orla is such a beautiful dog 😍 Totally love this pic."

"Beautiful in every way," declared someone else.

According to Vanity Fair, Orla was gifted to the royal family by James Middleton, Kate's brother, after his dog, Luna, gave birth to a litter of six in 2020.

Just weeks later, William and Kate's English cocker spaniel Lupo passed away. Lupo was given to the couple as a Christmas gift from Kate's parents nine years earlier, but he was also the offspring of a Middleton family dog, Ella.

In October 2024, William revealed that Orla often sleeps in bed with him and Kate, as Hello!reported. Even the canine's name has royal connotations: Translated from Gaelic, Orla means "golden princess."
