Kate Middleton’s Brother “Was Offered $1m Movie Role After His Reading At Royal Wedding”
The brother of the Princess of Wales has revealed that, following his performance at his sister’s wedding in 2011, he was offered a starring role in his own film.
James Middleton, the brother of Kate Middleton, has written a book about how his dog helped him recover from severe depression and, in an interview with The Times of London newspaper, he referred to his performance at the Westminster Abbey service, watched by an audience of hundreds of millions across the world, and a special achievement for him after he was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child.

Middleton told The Times that after his Bible reading at the wedding was broadcast, an American production company contacted him to offer a starring role in his own film, opening bid $1million.
Middleton added in his book of the invitation: “They even ventured that members of my wider family might like to take part.”
In the interview, he explained why he wanted to give the Bible address, despite having problems reading all his life.
“I’d never seen a royal wedding. There hadn’t been one in my lifetime. Not a big one anyway. I wasn’t aware of the scale or the global interest. I just felt privileged that my sister was asking me to do it, and it meant something to her. I wanted to make sure I did it.”
