Kacey Musgraves Is a 'Sucker' for Controversial Fashion Choice
Kacey Musgraves has always encouraged her fans to follow their arrow and do what makes them happy, and it seems that the country star is listening to her own advice when it comes to fashion.
The Grammy winner recently discussed her sartorial favorites, including one controversial outfit pick. Musgraves, 36, told Today she is a fan of “head-to-toe denim,” going as far as to say she’s “always a sucker for a Canadian tuxedo.”
The “Golden Hour” songstress has partnered with Reformation to create a 17-piece collection of clothing and accessories inspired by her latest album “Deeper Well” that includes the necessary components of the aforementioned “Canadian tuxedo.”
The clothing reflects Musgraves’ signature style, blending western-inspired looks (think denim and headscarves) with flirty two-piece sets and dreamy dresses.
The collab, which dropped Sept. 16 and features items between $28 and $498, was “made for frolicking,” according to the retailer. Musgraves shared that she worked on the line for “the better part of a year” and “approached this like a collection that I would personally want to wear, that I would want to see my friends wearing.”
This isn’t the first time Musgraves has linked with a brand to promote her music – in 2020, she sparked a trend of celebrity-inspired candles with her “Slow Burn” collaboration with Boy Smells. The “Rainbow” singer teamed up with the company again this past February to promote her new album with another candle, which she describes as “airy but grounded. Sky and dirt.”
