Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar and more star in 'It Ends With Us,' now available to rent or own on digital
Justin Baldoni is excited for more people to see It Ends With Us in the comfort of their homes.
The actor-director, 40, shared a message on his Instagram Stories Tuesday, Sept. 24, as the romantic drama becomes available to rent or own on digital platforms.
"So excited our film has the opportunity to touch even more hearts! @itendswithusmovieis still in [theaters] and it's available to rent or purchase digitally TODAY!" wrote Baldoni, also sharing an 8-minute extended preview of the film uploaded by Fandango.
It Ends With Us became a box office success after debuting in theaters on Aug. 9. After its digital release, it'll also be available on Blu-ray and DVD Nov. 5.
The movie, an adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel, stars Blake Lively, Baldoni, Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj and Brandon Sklenar.
Lively stars as Lily Bloom, who opens a flower shop in Boston while also falling in love with a charming neurosurgeon (Baldoni), a relationship that turns abusive.
"Lily begins to see sides of Ryle that remind her of her dangerous father," a synopsis reads. "With the support of her friends and allies, Atlas (Sklenar) and Alyssa (Slate), Lily must find her own strength to break the pattern or the pattern will break her."
After the film's opening weekend, producer-actress Lively, 37, thanked fans and shared resources to help survivors of domestic violence.
"Thank you to everyone who came out to show that people WANT to see films about women, and the multitudes we hold," she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.
"It Ends With Us is a story of the female experience. All the highest highs, and lowest lows. And we are so proud of it," she continued. "We have been in celebration of this film and of getting a message so important out there to the masses."
Lively added, "Thank you all for embracing It Ends With Us with the same love, pain and joy we had sharing it with you all."
