Jojo Moyes’ New Novel: Everything We Know
Jojo Moyes just announced she’s finished a new novel, so here’s everything we know. And yes, just like you we’ve been fans of Jojo Moyes for years.
Jojo Moyes is one of the most popular writers of the 21st century. Her best-selling books range from historical romances to modern dramas and usually contain a fair helping of “I’m not going to cry; I’m not going to cry; okay, I’m going to cry” heartfelt moments. That’s why she’s one of the few writers on our list of the 125 Best Romance Novels of All Time. Even better, on that same list Moyes took the time to share with us her personal pick for one of the best romance books of them all: Love In The Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Moyes’s breakout novel is of course Me Without You, the story of Louisa, a young woman who takes a job caring for Will, an alpha male suddenly wheelchair bound and hating it. Cue Louisa not taking his nonsense, Will opening up…and then Louisa discovering Will’s end of life plans and wrestling with what to do. It became a hit film, the first in a trilogy and the clear place to start for anyone asking, “Who is this Jojo Moyes I keep hearing about?”
Other terrific novels soon followed amidst the trilogy, not to mention fans discovering the great books she wrote before becoming an international sensation, books like Night Music (pre-superstardom) and The Giver of Stars (post-fame proof she’s here to stay).
Some 40 million books later, Moyes just announced she has a new novel set for publication.

We All Live Here by Jojo Moyes ($30; Pamela Dorman Books) Pre-order now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org
Jojo Moyes just told the world her new book is called We All Live Here ($30; Pamela Dorman Books). It’s set to come out February 11, 2025, as in “not soon enough.” But hey, it will come out. The plot? Our hero is Lila Kennedy, a woman with a very…complicated life. Kennedy faces daughters who won’t listen to her (duh! That’s literally the job of kids), a broken marriage, a stepfather who seems to have moved in and a job that’s not going well. Her love life? That’s even more complicated.
As fellow best-selling author Jodi Picoult once said, “No one writes women the way Jojo Moyes does.”
What Lila Kennedy does not need is the father she never really knew–a man who ran out on his family to chase a Hollywood dream–showing up 35 years after he skedaddled. But of course that’s exactly what she gets. And maybe, all of it, will prove exactly what she needs. We’ll have to wait until February 11, 2025 to find out.
