Just hours before President-Elect Joe Biden gets sworn into office, his daughter, Ashley Biden, has shared the one rule her father has when it comes to their family.

In 1972, Joe lost his first wife, Neilia, and his baby daughter, Naomi, in a car accident, with his beloved son, Beau Biden, passing away in 2015 from brain cancer at the age of 46.

"Dad is so empathetic and has the ability to recognize pain, to feel others' pain, and to comfort," Ashley said during the interview.

"It's also made family his number one. We have a rule still today that no matter where Dad is, no matter what meeting he's in, if one of the kids call, you have to get him out."
