Jock Zonfrillo's 'secret' project before his death: 'Personal'
It comes after Jock's wife shared that he had many projects that had yet to be released.
Jock Zonfrillo was filming a secret project with other celebrity chefs before his shock death the same day the new season of MasterChef was set to premiere.
The celebrity chef and MasterChef judge died on May 1 at just 46 years old, leaving behind Lauren Fried and their two children, Alfie and Isla, as well as his two older daughters, Ava and Sophie, from two previous relationships.
Daily Mail reports the MasterChef judge was interviewing other celebrity chefs, which was shot on two phones.
Jock was reportedly creating content over three years during his time on the show.
Celebrity chef Luke Nguyen told the publication he had a 15-minute "sit-down" interview with Jock in his trailer.

"They weren't anything to do with MasterChef... they were just for him, from what I could gather," Luke said. "We would go into his little green-room trailer on set and we'd do a little chat which was all recorded with his own phone and would go for maybe 10 to 15 minutes.
"There were all kinds of questions recorded for what I guess was his own personal archives."
Luke added, "It was very much just talking about a lot of different topics that rarely had anything to do with food."
He also described Jock as a 'sensitive' and 'hospitable guy'.

Jock's wife Lauren broke her silence on the celebrity chef's shock death on Sunday night, taking to his Instagram account to update his followers.
"It's been a month since we lost Jock, and I put a line in the sand thinking that at the one month mark, I would turn some sort of a corner. Obviously that hasn't happened," she said of her grief. "And there's no time that I can allocate to say thank you to everyone, I'm just overwhelmed by the messages that came in from people all over the world that knew him or didn't know him."
She continued, "I really wish that he knew how loved he was and he knew the impact that he had on so many people."

Lauren then revealed the many projects Jock had been working on behind the scenes, adding she didn't know whether or not it would be "appropriate" to share these things on his social media following his passing, asking Jock's followers for their thoughts.
"He had lots of projects – he was working on a lot that he'd finished, and I just don't know what's appropriate or what you guys wanna see on here," she said. "He's got a lot of behind the scenes interviews and photos from MasterChef, he's got books, a fashion range, he's got spirits ageing in a distillery in Tassie," she explained. "He's got a TV show he filmed in Italy last year with the family."
"Somehow we will work out whether there's a path forward here, or if we don't do anything at all, but thanks again and I will manage his channel from now on and I will respond to as much as I can," she added. "Thank you."
