Joan Smalls bares all in Ariel-inspired Oscars dress

She’s one of the biggest supermodels in the world and is used to being dressed by in-demand designers.

And on Sunday night, Joan Smalls shocked everyone when she stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in a daring dress, which featured only bra cups to cover her modesty.

The 31-year-old looked stunning in the blue ruffled Schiaparelli gown, matching it with a pair of silver heels and keeping her glossy hair swept to one side.

Joan’s fans obsessed over her look on the night, with one referencing The Little Mermaid by saying: “Ariel is quaking”.

“You look amazing. Pure beauty!,” another person said.

Others weren’t so sure about Joan’s dress, with one person saying they would be “too paranoid” to wear something so revealing.

“That’s inappropriate for the oscars honey,” one person commented.

“Why even wear a dress?,” another said, while one Twitter user said: “I was grateful Joan Smalls reminded me I need to buy more kitchen foil”.

Joan wasn’t the only star to go all out in the fashion stakes on the night, with fellow model Emily Ratajkowski showing off her rock-hard abs in a white skirt and crop top by Inamorata x Christy Rilling Studio.
