Jetstar launches bargain $19 flights to kickstart post-iso travel

Qantas and Jetstar have launched a massive sale with a huge number of cheap flights to help kickstart post-iso travel across Australia.

With some state boarders finally starting to open up Jetstar has released 10,000 one-way fares for a bargain $19.

The cheap airfare will be available on 22 routes including Melbourne to Sydney, Sydney to Gold Coast, Melbourne to Byron Bay (Ballina), Brisbane to Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) and Adelaide to Cairns.

You can also nab a $49 flight from Brisbane to Mackay or a $79 from Sydney to Hamilton Island and Brisbane to Darwin.

But you’ll have the be quick. The sale launches at 9am today (Friday) and goes until Monday night unless sold out prior.

“Our research tells us more than 75 per cent of Australians intend to fly in the next six months,” Qantas Group chief executive Alan Joyce said.

“We know that these low fares will encourage even more people to get on a flight to take a short holiday or visit family and friends.

Qantas is currently offering its frequent flyers triple points on all flights nationwide from 27 June until 31 October 2020.

And both airlines are offering customers greater flexibility when booking, with travellers having the ability to change the date of travel, without being charged a fee.
