Jessica Alba and Cash Warren Have Reportedly Split After 16 Years of Marriage
The two share three children.
Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren have reportedly called it quits after nearly 17 years of marriage. TMZ reported that sources with direct knowledge said the couple recently separated and are now going through with a divorce.
The Good Luck Chuck star and film producer first met in Vancouver in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four. Alba played lead Sue Storm, while Warren served as a director's assistant.
"I feel in love with you from the first moment I saw you," Warren admitted during a 2022 YouTube video alongside Alba.
While it's unclear just when the pair started dating, they announced they were expecting their first child in December 2007. The same month, they revealed they were engaged.
Alba and Warren tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at the Beverly Hills courthouse on May 19, 2008, and officially became parents on June 7, 2008, when they welcomed their eldest daughter, Honor Marie Warren. They welcomed a second daughter, Haven Garner Warren, in August 2011 and a son, Hayes Alba Warren, in December 2017.
This past May, Alba commemorated 16 years of marriage with a sweet Instagram post.
"16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go… Happy Anniversary @cash_warren 🫶🏽 I’m proud of us for making it this far," the actress wrote over a photo of them dressed to the nines. "There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family. Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you."
In the months following, the two sparked marriage trouble speculation after stepping out without their wedding rings. On Saturday, Alba attended a pre-Golden Globes party solo and without her band. She was seen ring-less last month, as well, while out in Rome with film producer Andrea Iervolino. (The two are working on the biopic Maserati: The Brothers.) Meanwhile, Warren was seen strolling around Los Angeles earlier this month without his wedding ring.
The two were last seen together publicly sitting court side at an L.A. Laker's game at Crypto.com Arena on November 10.
Alba and Warren have broken up once before. Four months into their romance, they split for a brief period of time.
"We broke up. It was jealousy. I was turning into an asshole, and so we broke up. During that time apart, I made a promise to myself to channel that [jealously] in a different way," Warren explained on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast in August 2023.
