Jessica Alba Breaks Silence on Breakup from Cash Warren After 16 Years of Marriage: Time for 'a New Chapter'

Jessica Alba is speaking out about her breakup with husband Cash Warren.

The Trigger Warning actress shared a message on Instagram Thursday, Jan. 16, writing, "I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years - both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I'm proud of how we've grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."

"We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family," added Alba. "Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time."

Alba, 43, and Warren, 45, met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four. They wed in May 2008, and have three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.
