Yahoo Lifestyle Jennifer Lopez just wore Dior's gladiator boots
Jennifer Lopez is currently pulling out all the stops when it comes to fashion as she travels the world on her Unstoppable press tour – and her latest look proves that she can pull anything off.
After all, who but Lopez herself could make gladiator sandals fashionable again? At a photocall in London this week, the actress gave a sophisticated update to the former footwear fad, sporting a pair of Dior’s D-Idole boots. The shoes, made out of glossy black leather, first debuted in the French fashion house’s autumn/winter 2024 collection.
When seen from the front, they appear as classic knee-high boots. But, in the back, the shoes are almost entirely split open, held together by stacks of adjustable leather straps with gold buckles. On each heel sits a shiny gold ball, adorned with the Christian Dior Paris logo.
As for the rest of Lopez’s outfit, the superstar struck an elegant figure in a long white double-breasted coat layered atop a black turtleneck. She finished the look off with more black accents from Dior: a wide-brim hat and a quilted leather Lady Dior bag.
Lopez also wore her gladiator-sandal-style boots earlier this week in photos shared to Instagram. At the time, she paired the shoes with another elegant outfit, then opting for a black and grey tartan tweed jacket and a matching wrap miniskirt.
Lately, Lopez has been busy promoting Unstoppable, a sports drama about real-life wrestler Anthony Robles. Naturally, the star has brought her sartorial savvy with her, jet-setting across the world in outfits that have included mini bubble skirts, knit shorts sets, and slinky metallic slip dresses.
