When asked about her performance, Affleck said that Lopez was "spectacular" as Judy Robles, the mother of a boxer named Anthony. The film is based on the book by Anthony Robles and was produced by Affleck and his friend, Matt Damon. It's set to hit theaters on December 6 before streaming on Prime Video next year on January 16.

"Jennifer's spectacular," Affleck told Entertainment Tonight. "We believed in the right people, and Unstoppable is another example of that."

"I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes," Jennifer said in a video shared on X from the Unstoppable U.K. premiere on November 5. "As spectacular and wonderful."

The film's director, William Goldenberg, spoke about how amicable everything was between Lopez and Affleck. He explained that as seasoned professionals, they're not going to bring personal matters into the promotion of the new movie.

"It's always been about the movie and that's their personal business," Goldenberg told E! News in September, when the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. "We just kept it about the movie. We just kept her eye on the prize."
