Jennifer Lopez, 53, divides with 'naked' dress: 'Wrong'

Jennifer Lopez has shocked fans with her latest ‘naked’ red carpet look. The star, 53, has been busy promoting her newest film Shotgun Wedding ahead of its January 27 release date on Amazon Prime.

For the Los Angeles premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre, Jennifer chose a very racy Valentino dress with a long train. Wearing a nude-coloured, sheer gown covered with shimmery crystal details, she kept her modesty covered with a skimpy nude bodysuit underneath.

She wore her hair slicked back in a tight bun and wore sweeping dramatic eye makeup. Jennifer also sported a nude lip and accessorised with long diamond earrings and a bright yellow clutch.

While most people loved her look, there was one glaring detail that baffled fans.

The statement piece of her designer gown was a giant yellow bow that was visible underneath the see-through dress layer. It looped around her waist and hung down to her ankles.

Fans took to social media to discuss the pop star’s huge fashion risk.

“Oh no! Something went wrong! Very dull and ill fitting,” one person declared.

“I’m afraid it is neither classy nor attractive, I cannot think of anything worse than stumbling over the Xmas tree as you put it back in its box, only to get [tangled] up in the decorations just before you're due to go out,” another quipped.

“It reminds me of a sheer curtain,” a third chimed in.

“Dress [is stunning], if only the ribbon was not yellow,” another lamented.

On the other hand, multiple people said the look was ‘perfect’ and extremely ‘classy’.

“I can’t even understand how gorgeous this is. Breathtaking as always,” gushed a fan.

“The classiest take on a sheer dress so far,” another wrote.

“Love this dress, how intriguing to put the bow under the dress, “ a third added.

“The whole look is perfection. You are perfection,” remarked another.
