Jennifer Garner, 52, credits her 'bright', 'younger' eyes to this $25 Neutrogena cream

Jennifer Garner may be 52 (how?), but she's known for her ageless look — along with, of course, her decades in front of the camera. The A-lister credits her flawless skin to a variety of Neutrogena products, but one of her most recent faves is the brand's retinol-infused Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Pro+ Eye Cream, which she calls "really helpful" in making her look "bright-eyed and younger." You can score this celeb-approved pick for just $25 at Amazon — a savings of 45%.

With powerful anti-aging ingredients like retinol and glycerin, this peeper-keeper helps turn back the clock on your most sensitive skin.

Why is this a good deal? 💰

In-office skin treatments for under-eye issues like dark circles, bags and crow's feet can set you back hundreds of dollars. But right now, you can snag this eye cream, normally $47, for over 45% off. Talk about an eye-opening deal!

Why do I need this? 🤔

In a conversation with Prevention, Jennifer Garner — a Neutrogena ambassador — shared one of her new favorite products: Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Pro+ Eye Cream. True to its name, it includes a powerful anti-aging ingredient, retinol, and Garner says it really does amp up that youthful glow. "What I love is when you're promoting cell turnover, what it does is it decreases lines and increases brightness and it increases fluidity in the skin and a flexibility in the skin, which just means that it's more plump looking, more alive looking, younger," she said. "When you fill out the area around the eyes, you don't even recognize that it's something you're missing as you get older, but it makes you look just a little bit more bright-eyed and younger," she says.

The actress was surprised the brand could create a safe eye cream using retinol. "I was nervous to use retinol around my eyes. It just didn't make sense because they always say 'use everywhere but your eye area'... [but Neutrogena] did all of this work on it, and it is safe. Especially, you know, I'm starting to get some lines and things, and so it just helps with those and it helps keep more moisture and more brightness."

The cream also includes glycerin, which hydrates the outer layer of the skin and protects against irritants. What you won't find: fragrance, parabens, mineral oil, dyes and phthalates, all of which can irritate sensitive skin.

What reviewers say 💬

The Deadpool & Wolverine star isn't the only mega-fan of this eye cream — the Neutrogena fave also has a plethora of happy users on Amazon who have awarded it a fresh-faced five-star rating.

Pros 👍

"I lost a lot of weight the last few years and the skin around my eyes has gotten very loose," confessed a shopper. "Especially my upper eyes, and I also have dry skin. But I put this stuff on, sometimes twice a day, and the skin shrinks and the loose skin/wrinkles are no longer visible. I have tried far more expensive creams that didn't do half as good a job!"

Another user wrote, "I noticed a decrease in my crow's feet and my bags under my eyes within about three weeks ... definitely works."

"The claims are true!" exclaimed a five-star fan. "I used this Neutrogena [eye cream] every night for a week, and my under-eye area started to look noticeably clearer and firmer. The formula is thick, and only a tiny dot of it under each eye covers the entire under-eye area. It sinks in quickly and does not leave any greasy residue."

Cons 👎

New to retinol? You'll want to be careful, especially around the eyes, fans say. "Keep in mind that retinol products require time for your skin to adjust," cautioned this reviewer. "I did not take the warnings on the box seriously about breaking up the days and taking it slowly. In a matter of days, my skin was tight (in a bad way!), itchy, and dry. ... I hydrated up until my skin returned to normal. After that, I took it slow — [Neutrogena] Hydroboost most nights and then the retinol products 2-3 nights a week. That worked."

"If I rub my eyes within 30 minutes of applying this, there is some eye sting," said a final shopper. But they added this: "My eye area feels very smooth and I can see some brightening after about three weeks of use."

Users have reported an improvement in issues like dark circles, crow's feet and fine lines after just a few weeks of using this cream.

And for an all-over glow, Garner also swears by Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel.

"I can instantly tell the difference — [my skin] just looks fresh and plump and better. There are all these little micro-lines that once I put this on, they go away," said Garner. "This is 48 hours of moisture that you're locking in with one thing, and then I don't have to worry about it. … I think it's my favorite product we've ever put out."
