In a clip shared to Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the temporary co-hosts were clearly excited about collaborating.
"Scarlett's gonna come back!" Bush Hager said.
"I work here now!" Johansson agreed.
Bush Hager joked that she needed a Sharpie to cross out the "friends" in Jenna & Friends, suggesting that the show's new title should be Today With Jenna & Scarlett.
Johansson then revealed the next episode's theme, saying, "Our twin siblings are coming! Jenna's sister Barbara, my brother Hunter. I'm so excited!"
Bush Hager then encouraged everybody on the set to cheer for Johansson, chanting, "Scarlett Scarlett! Scarlett!"

Commenters were ready to welcome Johansson on board full-time.
"Look no further! You found your co-host! Love this dynamic duo! 💗💗," wrote one fan.
"Y'all have great chemistry!" declared a second.
"I was so discouraged last week!!!! This week has been the best. I love Jenna and Scarlett…this needs to be permanent!!!!" insisted someone else.
In addition to both having twin siblings, Bush Hager and Johansson have something else in common. In the same episode, they bonded over the fact that they both have "unusual" names.
Bush Hager complained that she could never find her name on souvenirs in gift shops while growing up. Johansson could relate, admitting that "there were definitely no Scarletts" when she was a kid.
“And my twin brother, Hunter—certainly there were no Hunters,” Johansson added. “But a couple of years ago, we were in Montauk out in Long Island and we were at one of those surf shop places, and there were two mini-keychain surfboards. One said Scarlett and then we found Hunter, and I legit think we cried. We did cry a little bit.”
“Did you cry enough to buy them?” Bush Hager asked.
“Of course we bought them!” Johansson said. “We bought them and we looked at each other and it was like, ‘They see us.’”
“We’re seen!” Bush Hager joked. “It was a big moment.”
“It was an overreaction,” Johansson said.
