Jelly Roll Shares Weight Loss Update With Fans in 'Inspiring' New Video
Jelly Roll has been open with fans throughout his 120-pound weight loss journey, and he continues to share his honest feelings on the sometimes "painful" process.
The country singer took to Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 9, to share a video of himself after a successful hike up Arizona's Camelback Mountain—and to encourage his followers to keep working towards their fitness goals, even when it's hard.
"Listen, I just wanted to let y'all know something from the bottom of my heart. I'm tired, I'm frustrated, I'm sore," Jelly Roll said, going on to film the view from the mountain. "But holy f--k, isn't that beautiful?"
"I hope y'all are getting out moving today, it's worth the sacrifice, it's worth the pain," the star continued.
"I realized today that some days when I get out here in this process of trying to make this massive life change...some days, I come out here and I feel great. From the moment we start, I feel good all the way through, and I only feel better when I leave, you know? But today kinda reminded me that sometimes you have those days, man, where you just don't feel it at all," he noted, continuing, "And even when you get walking, you don't feel it. Your heartbeat starts pumping, you still don't completely feel it. You know what I mean?"
"We can't live in a false sense of this thing, not sucking," Jelly Roll explained. "Like, you're making this big of a life change, it's gonna hurt. Be painful. I'm sore all the time," he said, noting, "Especially the first couple months, you feel like you're just pissing in the wind. Like, you can't get any progress."
