JD Vance’s Wife Usha Debuts as Second Lady in Pink Oscar de la Renta Coat Dress at Donald Trump’s Inauguration 2025
Usha Vance made a pink statement at Donald Trump’s second inauguration ceremony on Monday in Washington, D.C., where her husband, JD Vance, was sworn in as the Vice President of the United States. She wore a tailored Oscar de la Renta ensemble for the occasion.
The Oscar de la Renta ensemble featured a structured blush-pink coat with a high collar and a belted waist. She accessorized with blush suede knee-high boots that complemented her coat’s muted tones. To complete the look, she carried a small clutch in a matching neutral shade and wore statement floral earrings.

The night before the inauguration, the second family hosted a black-tie seated dinner at the National Gallery of Art for President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet. For the evening event, she wore a custom noir black velvet strapless gown by Oscar de la Renta. The gown featured asymmetrical floral accents cascading along the bodice and a structured sweetheart neckline.
Donald Trump’s second inauguration as the 47th President of the United States took place on Monday in Washington, D.C. Following tradition, the day began with a worship service at St. John’s Episcopal Church and a White House meeting between incoming and outgoing presidents. The mandated swearing-in ceremony will happen on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. Carrie Underwood is set to perform “America the Beautiful” at the event. Following the inauguration, guests and supporters of the President are expected to attend three evening celebrations, including the Commander in Chief Ball, Liberty Inaugural Ball and Starlight Ball.
