Jake Paul and Logan Paul Will Not Fight —They’re Launching a Max Reality Series Instead

Despite a cryptic teaser earlier this week, Jake Paul and Logan Paul will not face off against each other in the ring. Rather, they are launching a reality series on Max, the brothers announced during a livestream event Thursday.

Jake and Logan peacocked around one of their mansions for five minutes, pretending to spar, until they hugged and fake cried. “I think we’re bad actors or something,” Jake said. “We do have a bigger announcement than us fighting.”

He unveiled a neon sign showcasing the title of the reality series, “Paul American,” which will launch March 27 on Max. The brothers promise it will provide a behind-the-scenes look into the various escapades, including the lead-up to Jake’s boxing match against Mike Tyson.

“You thought we’re controversial?” Logan said, teasing that the show might end their careers. “I bet we get one season.”

As for whether Jake and Logan will ever fight each other, they say: “Maybe we’ll do that one day.”

As they each went outside to pop champagne while standing in front of twin yellow sports cars, the livestream buffered until it ultimately shut off.

The Paul brothers rose to fame by posting six-second videos on the now-defunct social media site Vine. Both became popular online influencers in their own right on YouTube before a brief stint in TV and movies. Jake starred in the Disney Channel series “Bizaardvark,” on which Logan appeared as a guest star.

In recent years, they both became professional fighters — Jake a boxer who most recently fought the 58-year-old legend Mike Tyson; Logan a wrestler who is a former WWE United States Champion. The Paul-Tyson fight drew 108 million viewers worldwide, according to Netflix, which called it the “most-streamed global sporting event ever.” The Pauls are both entrepreneurs, too, with Jake spearheading a men’s personal care brand called W and Logan co-founding the beverage company Prime and snack brand Lunchly.
