A savage Hollywood feud is coming in hot, and we are so here for the sass from these ladies.

Jackie Weaver has clapped back at a thinly-veiled dig from an A-lister, with some savage material of her own.

The Australian actress was promoting her new film Poms co-starring Diane Keaton on Wednesday when Anjelica Huston made a pointed dig at ‘old-lady cheerleader movies’.

“I’m looking for movies that impress me in some way, that aren’t apologetically humble or humiliating,” said the Oscar-winner to Vulture.

According to IMDB Poms is, “a comedy about a group of women who form a cheer leading squad at their retirement community, proving that you're never too old to 'bring it!'“

Ouch.

The Aussie Oscar nominee didn’t take the insult lying down however, and had some choice words to impart when grilled on the undeniably shade.

“I just laughed,” Jackie told Vanity Fair the next day.

“And then I said, ‘Well, she can go f**k herself.”

The Addams Family actress came under fire for the original interview which savaged many a Hollywood star, and was perceived as defensive of Roman Polanski and Woody Allen, both of whom have been accused of sexual assault.

Jackie Weaver for one, wasn’t going down without a fight, and gave back as good as she got.

“I was kind of disappointed. I had always been an admirer of Anjelica. And I thought, ‘That’s a bit mean and petty.’” she said.

“I would say she must be going through menopause, but she must have had that ages ago.”

Jackie went on to point out that Anjelica’s comment are indicative of a wider issue at play in Hollywood.

“Anjelica sounds sad at the moment, I have to say,” she said.

“I think she must be a bit disappointed or she wouldn’t be slagging on people for no reason, including herself, saying she’s an ‘old lady.’”

As for whether Huston would be considered for a role in Poms?

“I can’t see her cheerleading,” she said.
