Jackie 'O' Henderson gets candid about her love life: 'A bit lost'

The Aussie star credits a conversation with Bachelor star Luke McLeod for changing her perspective on love.

Aussie star Jackie O Henderson has opened up about being single since her divorce saying learning gratitude has helped her navigate her love life and what she's looking for.

Speaking with fans at the book launch of former Bachelor star's Luke McLeod's Everyday Enlightenment, the radio host talked of a conversation she had with Luke about her love life, telling him she felt like she was missing something by not being able to find the companionship she was looking for.

During their catchup, Jackie, 49, told Luke she "really wants to find someone" and that she felt lost by not being able to find the right connection.

This led to Luke asking her why she was so desperate to get into a relationship, with Jackie saying she felt like "a piece of her was missing".

"I have a lot of love to give or I want that affection, that company. It just feels like there's something missing in my life," she said.

Jackie then went on to say during the conversation Luke gave her a piece of advice that she deemed life-changing.

Luke told the star she was giving off "too much desperate energy" and if she wanted to attract love in her life she needed to be grateful for what she already has.

Jackie said she previously struggled to switch that part of her mind off but started spending 15 minutes a day thinking about the things she was grateful for in her life.

"Now I'm at a place where I've almost gone the other way. I'm so happy being single and not looking for someone because I'm genuinely happy with my life," she said.
