Jack Nicholson didn’t actually attend Paris Fashion Week, but Alexis Stone did a pretty good job at making us believe he was there.

On Sept. 30, the drag queen, whose real name is Elliot Joseph Rentz, arrived at the Balenciaga spring/summer 2025 fashion show wearing an uncanny costume resembling the 87-year-old Oscar winner, whose public appearances have been seldom over the years.

Dressed in a Balenciaga hotel bathrobe and sporting untamed gray hair and a convincing Nicholson-like smile, Rentz, 30, put on his best impression of The Shining star at the show, which was also attended by Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Katy Perry and Lindsay Lohan.

Speaking with The New York Times, Rentz revealed that he spent six hours transforming into a late 1990s to early 2000s version of Nicholson.

Wrinkly prosthetics that covered his head, face and neck, plus a bodysuit and chest piece, fake teeth, blue contacts and a wig were all part of the makeover. A special effects 3D-print cigar and glass of Seventy One gin were used as props.

“We’re very much doing grumpy Jack,” Rentz told the outlet on the inspiration behind the moment. “Whenever we see these images of Jack over the last two decades, it’s always him smoking a cigarette in the water, putting sunscreen on whilst eating a hot dog or him at a Lakers show looking particularly grumpy.”

Rentz even committed to the bit by spraying on a custom fragrance by John Stephen that he believed emanated Nicholson’s scent.

Rentz didn't stop at Fashion Week though. Before his appearance, he took to Instagram with a photo shoot of himself recreating some of Nicholas' notable outfits (though some exaggerated interpretations), including the famous flannel look he put on as Jack Torrance in The Shining.

Rentz, who has 1.3. million Instagram followers, has gone viral for his celebrity transformations. He's dressed up as Jennifer Coolidge, Madonna, Lana Del Rey and most recently broke the Internet for his costume dedicated to Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada (originally played by Meryl Streep).
