An Instagram star has poked fun at royal baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor’s christening photo in one of his many hilarious posts.

Gary Janetti first found fame as Executive Producer of Will and Grace but has since gained a huge following for his eponymous Instagram account which mostly parodies Prince George.

The comedian’s caricature of the royal paints the five-year-old as a hilariously dramatic youngster.

Butt of the joke

But now Gary has extended the royal parody to little Archie, following the two-month-old’s highly secretive christening last weekend.

In response to the baby’s baptism, Gary conjured up several posts which centred on how he imagines Prince George would have responded to the festivities.

One post features the official family portrait released by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with Prince George Photoshopped in beside Archie’s proud parents.

Cheeky George

However, Gary didn’t stop there and labelled each blood royal in the photo with a number over their head for where they place in the line of succession.

“I’ve helpfully labeled where everyone stands in the line of succession,” Gary captioned the post, parodying Prince George.

In the next snap - the only two publicly released from the day - Gary’s version of George once again had his 786,000 followers in stitches.

The black and white photo features the Sussex trio embracing each other in the gardens of Windsor Castle after little Archie’s baptism.

A moving image to say the least, but one which was not immune to Gary’s wrath, when he again referenced the tot’s slim chances of ever becoming King.

“So fun celebrating Seven’s christening,” the post’s caption reads, referencing Archie’s place in the line of succession.

Although Gary’s humour may be a little edgy for some, his fans often credit the tongue in cheek wit with making their entire days.

“I've had a very bad weekend w some very tragic news thanks for keeping me with a smile,” wrote one thankful commenter.

“You are the splash of pettiness I didn’t know I needed in my life! Thank you!” quipped another.
