Tammy Hembrow's 'invisible' bikini divides fans
Instagram model Tammy Hembrow is no stranger to turning a head or two with her bold behaviour and outfit choices, but the latest eyebrow-raiser from the Aussie influencer may just take the cake.
The 25-year-old shared a photo to her Instagram page yesterday which needs a second look to confirm it doesn’t violate the social media platform’s nudity policy.
The tiny g-string bikini features clear strings holding up the barest sliver of white material, with a similarly see-through top.
Posing poolside, Tammy has her back to the camera so it’s unclear if the transparent theme continues, but it’s likely a bikini similar to this Oh Polly number, meaning there is some minimal coverage.
The mum-of-two faced a mixed response from her almost 10 million followers, many of whom were not overly impressed.
“Why even wear a bikini at this point,” one fan commented.
“This isn’t even a bathing suit,” wrote another.
One fan labelled the look ‘vulgar’, and another agreed calling it ‘too much’.
Others came to the mum’s defence.
“How to avoid tan lines,” one conceded.
“I think Tammy looks great all those hating are just jealous,” wrote a loyal fan.

Tammy has been living it up on a luxurious beachside holiday in Bali for the past week, and this isn’t the first look that’s caused division.
She had followers anxious when she posted a very underboob-heavy mermaid look over the weekend.

A crochet two-piece was another look that barely complied with Instagram’s famously anti-nipple T&Cs, but nothing has received the outcry the non-bikini has prompted.
Tammy has made waves with her social media presence in the past, being criticised over non-relatable body positive posts celebrating cellulite many fans couldn’t see at all.
It’s not the first bikini design that has people talking. This year has seen the market inundated with barely-there numbers, including one red g-string swimsuit that was more string than suit.
