Inside Logies stars' lavish $5k hotel rooms
The Logies are Australian TV’s night of nights, with the awards show seeing the country’s most famous faces gathered in anticipation of who will nab the top gong.
But when the curtain comes down and the stars’ night of celebration comes to a close, celebs need somewhere absolutely luxe to rest their weary heads.
Enter The Star Gold Coast’s penthouse suites — opulent and over-the-top in its splendour, each will set you back more than $5,000.
And while the winners won’t be announced until the star-studded ceremony on Sunday, the celebrities’ plans for afterwards will already be long locked in.
In this instance though it’s the convenience that’s the main feature, as the deluxe suite is situated in the same building as the awards themselves.
Also on offer for those on the top floor is a 180-degree vista of the Gold Coast skyline, seen through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a wraparound balcony.
Inside, guests can relax post-show in an opulent entertaining space, complete with sleek furniture and one of several grand chandeliers.
If a swim is needed on Monday to wash away the previous night’s festivities, stars can take a dip in the hotel’s infinity pool which boasts breathtaking views across the strip.
Alternatively, Logie winners and nominees looking to continue their celebrations can do so, as the suite is decked out with a Bose sound system throughout.
If you thought those rooms sound incredible, the hotel offers an even more Logie-appropriate option: a deluxe media suite - which also costs more than $5,000 a night.
Here, guests can keep the party going in the dedicated karaoke room which features a state-of-the-art multilingual karaoke system and huge 10-seat L-shaped lounge.
Top it with a choice of king-size beds and unmatched balcony views, and guests will have a lot to celebrate, long after Australia crowns its newest set of Logie winners.
