Hugh Jackman's Hollywood mates are well and truly rallying around him after he split with his wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, last month.

The 54-year-old Wolverine actor made headlines over the weekend when he was spotted in one of the most talked-about line-ups of the year, at an NFL game in New Jersey.

The NFL game in question was none other than the Kansas City Chiefs Vs the New York Jets - A.K.A Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce's game.

Hugh beamed as he posed for the photo with his friend and co-star, Ryan Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively and of course, Taylor.

Ryan has appeared to really throw his support behind his friend in this difficult time, being pictured with him now on numerous occasions.

In one of Hugh's social media snaps, he could be seen in a rainy park, wearing a cap with the Wrexham A.F.C. logo on it - the football club owned by Ryan and Rob McElhenney.

The Deadpool actor commented on the snap with three love heart emojis, with many fans commending the star for getting behind his Aussie actor friend.

"You're a good friend to HJ, Ryan!" one person commented.

"Friendship goalzz 😭😭❤️❤️ (sic)," another person said.

Earlier in September, Hugh was pictured in a kitchen eating alongside Ryan and Deadpool director Shawn Levy, with the trio all smiling for the camera.

And in another show of unity, Hugh and Ryan were snapped together at Racecourse Ground in the UK, where Wrexham played Milton Keynes Dons on August 5th.

'Gut-wrenching' divorce process

It comes after an insider spilled to Us Weekly about the ‘gut-wrenching’ divorce process the pair have to go through, saying that they’re planning on ‘splitting their real estate down the middle’.

“Their lives were so interwoven, so it’s an extremely tricky and gut-wrenching process dividing everything up and figuring out who gets what in terms of assets and finances,” the insider said.

When it comes to Hugh’s reported $180 million fortune, the insider claims: “That’s what they need to work out.

“The [divorce] filing will be formalized in due course, but before that happens, their aim is to come to an agreement. They’re determined to [do this] as amicably as possible.”

Hugh speaks out

The couple said in their original statement that they would make no further comments on their split at this time.

However, while out and about in New York in September, Hugh was cornered by a TMZ paparazzi, who quizzed the Wolverine star on 'what kind of individual growth he's pursuing next?'.

A clearly unimpressed Hugh responded: "It doesn't feel quite right talking about it on the street but I appreciate your thoughts man, thank you. It's a difficult time."

Hugh's appearance came amid reports that the star has been left ‘devastated’ by the breakdown of his marriage.

A source close to the Australian actor told Page Six the star is “very sad’ after the couple announced they were going their separate ways.
