Since walking away mortgage-free as the winners of renovation show House Rules last year, Adam Dovile and wife Lisa Lamond sure have been on a winning streak.
The pair wed in a romantic ceremony earlier this year, Adam scored a gig as Better Homes And Gardens’ resident carpenter and the two relocated from Melbourne to Sydney to start a new life.

Now, just six months after saying ‘I do’, the pair have another milestone to celebrate – they’re having a baby!
‘It’s an absolute blessing, we feel so blessed to be able to have a baby together,’ 30-year-old Lisa tells New Idea.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for HR manager Lisa - now 15 weeks, was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, the same condition that affected Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, during both of her pregnancies.
With Lisa’s nausea slowly easing, the reality duo, who are set to welcome bub next May, say the idea of becoming parents is now beginning to sink in.
‘It felt real when we had our 13-week scan. It was the most amazing thing I’ve seen in my life,’ gushes the Adam.
