Peter Reckell and Kristian AlfonsoHope Brady and Bo Brady's iconic love story will see a new day.
Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell, who last appeared on screen together in April 2023, have reunited to introduce a new chapter in the romance of their iconic Days of Our Lives characters.
Alfonso, 61, confirmed that the two are back on the set of the long-running daytime soap in an Instagram Stories post on Thursday, Sept. 12, writing, "Back in the Brady Pub hope you can join us 💃😘 @dayspeacock."

The post showed the actress holding on to Reckell's arm as he beamed from ear to ear and smiled at her.
She also included a link to her recent interview with TV Insider, in which she teased what would come from her reunion with Reckell, 69.

“There is a saying I love: 'Life takes you to unexpected places but love always brings you home.' Anyone who knows me knows how grateful I am to have all of you supporting me and welcoming me back when I’m back in Salem," Alfonso told TV Insider. "These episodes with Pete will not disappoint."

Kristian Alfonso as Hope BradyReckell shared similar sentiments to the outlet, which reported that their storyline would air in May 2025.
"Just like riding a bike. And thank goodness they [keep one ready] for me in Salem. This ride is one we know the fans are really going to love. Stay tuned," he said.

Peter Reckell as Bo BradyThe news comes after Michael Sluchan, EVP of Current Scripted Programming and Limited Series for NBC and Peacock, told SoapHub in February that the show's 60th anniversary would have "exciting stories."

"There’s both forward-thinking, and [our anniversary] will also harken back to classic Days, as well," he said at the time.
Bo and Hope's love story began in 1983. Alfonso left her character behind in July 2020, but she soon returned as Hope in Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem in 2022. In April, she filmed a brief return to Days for a tribute to the late Bill Hayes, which will air in November. Reckell left Days full-time in 2012, but has occasionally returned and appeared in Beyond Salem.
