Home and Away’s Luke Mitchell unrecognisable in new role

Australian star Luke Mitchell shot to fame as teenage heart-throb Romeo Smith on Home and Away and Will Benjamin on H2O: Just Add Water.

Since trading Summer Bay for Hollywood with his fellow Home and Away cast member and wife, Rebecca Breeds, the couple have been extremely busy.

Luke has found fame on The CW drama The Republic of Sarah, and Vampire Diaries spin-off Legacies.

Rebecca, who played Ruby Buckton on Home and Away, has found fame on Pretty Little Liars, as well as the title role in The Silence of the Lambs series Clarice.

While some past stars try to sweep their time on Home and Away under the rug, Luke has always looked back on his time in the soap fondly.

He is known for posting throwback photos of his time on the show, which fans absolutely adore.

“Happy 30th Home and Away! Thanks for the memories, the lifelong friendships and some of the best years of my life.”

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with many saying they missed him in Summer Bay.

“Ohhh…memories! I miss seeing you guys in Home and Away,” a fan commented.

“That was my favourite era of Home and Away,” another admitted.

“Gosh I remember when you were on Home and Away, I swear all the good ones leave,” added a third.

“Still sad about when Romeo left Home and Away,” remarked another.
