Home and Away's Kassandra Clementi shares shock announcement
Former Home and Away star Kassandra Clementi has made a surprise announcement. The actress has just revealed that she is expecting her first child with partner Dan McKernan.
In a sweet photo on Instagram, the couple pose with their cow Mike while Kassandra gently cradles her baby bump. The pregnancy announcement also doubled as a call out for charity, with the actress encouraging her followers to support Dan’s animal sanctuary in Michigan.
“It’s #GivingTuesday and Mike’s incoming baby sister would love it if you could help us continue to care for all her furry brothers and sisters here at Barn Sanctuary,” she wrote in the caption.
Her partner shared the same announcement on his page, and spilled that the pair are expecting their baby girl in May.

Kassandra is best known for her stint in Summer Bay as Maddy Osborne from 2013 to 2016. Her former Home and Away cast members were quick to send love to the young couple.
“Huge congratulations to you guys,” Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) wrote. “That cow looks like she wants you [to] babysit. Lots of love and hugs.”
“Love love love love you x,” added Raechelle Banno, who played Olivia Richards on the soap.
“YAYAYAYAYYYY A BUBBY GIRL TO JOIN THE GANG,” exclaimed fellow Aussie actress Alicia Banit.
Fans also flooded the social media post with their congratulations.
“Congratulations beautiful, so happy for you both!! So wonderful,” one person wrote.
“OMG congratulations! You are going to be the most divine mama xxx,” added another.
“Beautiful! Congratulations! Get ready for the absolute greatest journey!” a third chimed in.

The star has been busy since leaving Home and Away, moving to the USA to further her career. She has starred in Hallmark and Lifetime movies, and recently had a guest role in Netflix series From Scratch alongside Zoe Saldaña.
Kassandra was previously engaged to actress Jacqueline Toboni, but confirmed the pair had split ‘a while ago’ in August 2022.
