Home and Away fan fave rumoured to depart: 'Not fair'
Is this the end for Tane Parata and his bulging biceps?
Home and Away fans are freaking out over another rumoured departure, with an admin in a popular Home and Away Facebook group sharing that Ethan Browne, who plays Tane Parata, has reportedly stopped filming scenes.
Tane has been a staple in the Bay since 2020 and has been through his fair share of triumphs and trauma, as well as being one-half of Summer Bay's once hottest couple Tanicity (RIP Felicity). This last year alone, Tane has managed to get married, split up with his ex-wife, lose her under tragic circumstances, steal a baby from a hospital, and impregnate Harper. He's been busy! Suddenly I feel so lazy with my life.
Given all of the above, it could make sense that Ethan Browne is set to depart because, what else could Tane possibly go through? And also, Summer Bay hates children, so maybe we'll see Tane and Harper ride off into the sunset with their spawn.
Is Tane leaving Home and Away?
In the Facebook group, speculation started to grow that Tane may move back to New Zealand. "So it has been rumoured that Ethan Browne (Tane) has stopped filming and has left? But it looks like Jessica Redmayne (Harper) has left too, as she hasn’t been filming the last 2-3 weeks," an admin posted.
"She has been over to Scotland with her dad where I think that is where he lives and Jess posted this on her instagram last night! It does make sense as we know Home and Away don’t keep babies on the show, so IF THIS IS TRUE it looks like Harper has the baby and she and Tane may move to New Zealand.

Home and Away fans aren't super convinced Tane and Harper will leave
What would the Bay be without Tane and his huge, huge biceps? A terrible place, tbh. I'd stop watching.
"So not fair, hope it is just a rumour I don't want Ethan to leave!" one fan wailed. "It makes sense Tane, Harper and the baby moving to New Zealand and living happily ever after," another pointed out. "Tane deserves a happy ending. He’ll be missed if this is the case."
"If this is true that would be a great happy exit for them and I would love this," another person agreed. "Tane deserves it."

Others were annoyed saying that if Tane does leave soon, they wish that he and Felicity got a better ending.
"If that’s the case they should have made Tane and Felicity move to New Zealand and not kill her off. This whole Tane and Harper situation is rubbish," one person ranted.
However, we may not need to be mourning just yet, as another fan has come through with some very important intel.
"Tane was seen filming like in the last couple weeks and pretty sure Jess is just on holiday. My friend goes to filming like every week," they said.
