Hoda Kotb uses this creamy blush stick every day for a youthful ‘sunkissed look’
We'll take her advice! The morning show host always looks fresh, but not overdone, on air.
Say you had only a minute or two to apply makeup: You'd focus on concealer to hide dark under-eye circles and mascara to open your eyes, right? But there's another go-to product you need for a healthy, well-rested glow: Blush. Longtime TODAY Show host Hoda Kotb once shared on-air that her favorite is Pat McGrath Labs' Divine Cream Blush. Kotb said on the show's website that she uses the shade Peach Lotus every day, and that it "gives you that sunkissed look."
When it comes to appearing fresh and alert, we trust someone who's spent the last 18+ years waking up at the crack of dawn to go on television.
Slip the pint-sized cutie in your purse for quick pick-me-ups.
The Pat McGrath Labs' Divine Cream Blush comes in stick form, so it's incredibly easy to apply (even before you've had your coffee). Simply glide the glow-boosting cream over your cheekbones and blend with your finger, a brush or a sponge. It comes in eight glowy colors, each one formulated with good-for-your-skin ingredients like shea butter, squalane and passion fruit extract to hydrate and smooth while promoting collagen production.
The brand suggests swiping the balm from the cheekbones toward the temples, then blending a dot onto the apples of the cheeks and on the nose. But! You can also try it on your lips — use a fingertip to press the balm on for a hint of color.
Sephora shoppers are smitten. One fan wrote: "This blush is beautiful. It gives skin a nice healthy glow and looks so pretty on. I find it easy to apply with a brush. It blends nicely and I love the color!"
"The formula is smooth with just the right amount of pigment for my skin tone; slightly glossy and easy to blend out and layer. LOVE this!" added one shopper who also called it "underrated."
"Creamy, easy to blend and gives you a pretty glow instead of the chalky texture of a powder," noted another. "Compact and easy for travel. Love it!"
Some fans shared that the color didn't last all day and needed to be reapplied.
"Great glowy finish. However, not long-lasting which is disappointing," said one customer who purchased the Fleurotique shade. "The color is a beautiful, natural rosy tone that is flattering on many skin tones."
"Color and feel are nice but it does not stay pigmented for very long," shared another, who ended on a high note: "Melted into my skin."
All you need is two to three swipes for a healthy glow.
