Hillary Rodham Clinton Announces New Book Coming This Fall: She Has 'Looked at Life from Both Sides Now'
'Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty' will be available for purchase this September
Hillary Rodham Clinton has another book coming very soon.
On Tuesday, June 25, the former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic Party candidate for president announced that her book Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty is coming this fall.
The upcoming novel is "Hillary like you haven’t seen her before," the press release said, "offering a glimpse into her closest friendships and enduring marriage as well as her unvarnished views on politics, democracy, the threats we face and the future within our reach."

Priscilla Painton, the editor-in-chief of Simon & Schuster praised the upcoming book, likening it to catching up with your dearest friend over dinner. “The book reads like you’re sitting down with your smartest, funniest, most passionate friend over a long meal,” she said, in a press release.
The book gets personal, according to the publisher. "She shares the latest chapter of her inspiring life and shows us how to age with grace and keep moving forward with grit, joy, purpose and a sense of humor."

“This is the Hillary Americans have come to know and love: candid, engaged, humorous, self-deprecating — and always learning.”
In Something Lost, Something Gained, Clinton, 76, writes about the strength she gets from her friends, her Methodist faith, and her nearly 50 years of marriage to former president Bill Clinton.

She also revisits some of the more challenging moments of her political career, her time as a college professor and reflects on her 2016 losing bid for president of the United States.
Her passion for activism in support of women and democracy is also a main focus, along with her "fervent and persuasive warning to all American voters."
Clinton's latest memoir ultimately explores how the "personal is political, and the political is personal, providing a blueprint for what each of us can do to make our lives better." She has "looked at life from both sides now," and is ready to continue sharing her story.
Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty comes out from Simon & Schuster on Sept. 17, in both e-book and hardcover formats, and is available for preorder now, wherever books are sold.
