High Potential’s ‘Satisfying’ Finale Sucks Morgan Into a Killer’s Deadly Game (Exclusive Sneak Peek)

It’s a good thing High Potential has already been renewed, because viewers are going to be fiending for Season 2 by the end of tonight’s finale (ABC, 9/8c).

In addition to promising a “satisfying final episode for the audience,” showrunner Todd Harthan teases that the explosive hour “harkens back to where the characters started this season and shows how far they’ve come in a short period of time.”

“It’s been quite a bumpy ride for Morgan since she joined the team,” Harthan says. “In this episode, we’re going to see the trust that has been built within this newfound family. They’re all being tested in a way that they collectively hadn’t quite been tested before. There have been some challenging cases that came before, but this one felt like it was a meaningful upgrade.”

TVLine has an exclusive first look at the aforementioned case, in which an apparent killer invites the LAPD to play along with his twisted game… or else more people will die.

Of course, the season ender has plenty to offer even if you’re not a fan of life-or-death stakes. Perhaps we could interest you in a glamorous police gala, complete with fancy dresses and slow dancing? And what would a finale be without an update on the show’s season-long mystery? (You know the one.)
