Here's how you can watch Big Little Lies in Australia
It was the blockbuster female-led series which was originally slated to air for just one season.
But Big Little Lies is back for round two, and will return to Australian screens on Foxtel from June 10 for seven more episodes.
Season one’s star-studded cast - including Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley - have all signed on to reprise their roles.
The eight-time Emmy-winning show is based on Aussie author Liane Moriarty’s book of the same name and its return is aimed to keep Foxtel users subscribed to the service following Games of Thrones’ recent finale.
Adding to season two’s allure is Meryl Streep taking on the role of Mary Louise Wright who comes to Monterey - where the show is set - to seek answers after the untimely death of her son.
Both Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman will return as executive producers for the series, which was originally pitched to the pair as a film before HBO came onboard.
The show’s first season received near-universal acclaim following its release in 2017 and saw it receive 16 Emmy nominations, six Golden Globe nods and a SAG Award for Kidman win a SAG award for her lead role.
