Helen Mirren received the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday evening surrounded by a star-studded guest list including Lady Gaga, Salma Hayek, Reece Witherspoon and Cate Blanchett.

The 76-year-old British actor stunned on the red carpet in a powder pink ensemble by Dolce and Gabbana, which featured eye-catching Venetian glass embellishments.

She finished off the look with a coordinating (and very on-trend) padded headband and pink diamond earrings by Harry Winston.

While there’s no denying her ensemble was haute, Mirren's beauty and skincare regime was surprisingly affordable.

The striking pink outfit was complemented by Mirren's equally rosy and glowing complexion – a pretty look created by celebrity make-up artist, Jo Strettell, using L'Oreal products.

Mirren, who is an ambassador for the French beauty brand, is no stranger to using affordable beauty products, as she wore a £9.99 concealer at Cannes Film Festival last year.

However, for the SAG Awards, it was two under £10 skin creams that caught our attention.

Mirren's skin was prepped using two of L'Oreal's Age Perfect creams, which are specially designed for mature skin.

The Rosy Radiant Eye Cream, designed for ages 55+, helps to correct stubborn dark circles through its reflective pigments containing both Peony Polyphenols and Calcium B5 to give skin a natural rosy glow.

The eye cream already has hundreds of five-star reviews on Amazon and is currently only £6.42, reduced from £14.99 – bargain.

L'Oreal's Age Perfect SPF Cream was also a big part of the skin prep (after all, we all know SPF is the holy grail when it comes to anti-ageing skincare).

The moisturiser with SPF 20 is designed to instantly hydrate mature skin, using the same formula as the eye cream to give your skin a youthful rosy glow.

With thousands of five-star reviews, the affordable cream (currently on sale for £7.49) already has plenty of fans, many customers saying they'd highly recommend the products and that they've had lots of compliments on their rosy appearance.
