Heartbreak High's Thomas Weatherall reveals what it was like working with Jacob Elordi
The Heartbreak High star worked alongside the Euphoria star in a new five-part series.
Since season one of Heartbreak High was released in 2022, Thomas Weatherall's star has been on the rise. Thomas, 23, who plays Malakai Mitchell on the show, has been very busy since 2022, with season two set to hit screens on April 11 on Netflix.
The star has appeared on the stage in his own play Blue, Stan's new show Exposure and Prime Video's The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which he co-stars with Jacob Elordi.
Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle, Thomas shared his excitement over working with the Euphoria and Saltburn star, describing it as "a dream".
"It was great!" he tells us. "I don't know how much I can sort of share about that project, but [Jacob's] the best, he was lovely to work with. And I was very fortunate, we got to spend quite a bit of time sort of in pre-production together and kind of getting to know each other for our characters.

"But you see why he has the career he has, he knows how to handle himself on an off-set, and he's just the absolute consummate professional to work with.
"It was a bit of a dream working with him and [he's] just a lovely guy like we have to do some pretty heavy stuff in that show, so to be able to have him along ride the ride – it was very special."
The show is a five-part drama shot in New South Wales and based on Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name.
It tells the story of Lieutenant-Colonel Dorrigo Evans (Elordi) and the love affair that shaped his life. We see Evans through different periods of his life, from childhood to his experience as a prisoner of war on the Thailand-Burma Railway as a young man and later in life as a respected surgeon and Australian war hero.

When we joked about the possibility of either Thomas or Jacob appearing on each other's shows, the Heartbreak High star didn't seem to think it was entirely outside of the realm of possibility.
"I was actually, I was with him and he went through the trailer for Heartbreak High and he was asking a few questions about it, so maybe?" he said with a laugh. "Maybe one day, we'll see!"
