Harry Potter star Devon Murray expecting first child with girlfriend

He was known for occasionally (often) blowing things up as Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter movie series.

Now, actor Devon Murray has shared the exciting news with fans that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey Quinn.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to sharing a photo of a baby jumpsuit and sonogram snaps.

“Baby Murray - 14th of January 2021,” he captioned the post.

Devon and Shannon first started dating back in November 2018.

He’s shared pictures of the couple often, inclduing from their first Valentine's Day together in 2019, where they went to Paris.

“Our first #valentines together in #paris Only together 3 months but can’t imagine my life without,” he wrote at the time.

The Irish child star featured in all eight Harry Potter movies from 2001 through to 2011.

But it appears Devon didn’t do much more acting since. He is only credited for an appearing in a 2017 music video and 2018 film Damo & Ivor: The Movie.

The news comes after fellow Harry Potter star Rupert Grint also became a father for the first time back in May, welcoming a baby girl with partner Georgia Groome.

A representative for the couple, who have reportedly been together since 2011, confirmed the happy news not long after after Rupert, 31, and Georgia, 28, made the announcement they were expecting their first child together.
