What Harry and Meghan's relationship is really like

Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s marriage has been under the microscope since they wed.

But despite reports hinting otherwise, author and journalist Bryony Gordon insists the couple are enjoying their first year of matrimony.

“They are so adorable. I saw them recently and genuinely lovely, happy, you know, first flushes of love, first year of being married,” she told UK presenter Lorraine Kelly. “I’m like just you wait!”

Lorraine quipped: “The honeymoon is still in progress then? Wait till the baby comes!”

Bryony then went on to discuss her recent outing with Meghan and share her thoughts on the current reports surrounding the former actress.

“She was lush! But it would have been like going out for lunch with you. We ate monkfish, she fed me some of hers, we swapped food,” Bryony explained.

“We talked about yoga, she is, again, really lovely and normal and down-to-earth. I think if you put any family under a microscope you will find weird dynamics that could make headlines, but fundamentally I think they’re a really lovely couple.”

Bryony’s comments come after claims Meghan “is not someone you can actually be friends with”, while other reports claim the Duchess of Sussex has convinced her husband to give up tea and alcohol.
