'Happy Gilmore 2' release date, more cameos teased by Adam Sandler

Guess who's back, back again? Happy Gilmore ... and Eminem.

In a Friday appearance on the "Dan Patrick Show," Adam Sandler revealed the "Without Me" rapper will have a cameo in the upcoming comedy sequel "Happy Gilmore 2."

Sandler declined to share details about Eminem's role but indicated it will be a brief appearance.

"I've known Eminem for a long time, and he's a great guy," he said. "He came in and was funny as hell. I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and just shot and shot, and it was insane. (He) said a million things we can use."

The comedian also revealed retired golfer Jack Nicklaus is in the movie. According to Sandler, "all these great golfers came by" to shoot an unspecified scene, in which Sandler sat next to Nicklaus.

The "Grown Ups" star disclosed this news despite the fact that he said he was asked not to do "any press" about the film. He joked, "They're gonna yell at me no matter what."

"Happy Gilmore 2" was first revealed by original star Christopher McDonald earlier this year when the actor said in an interview that Sandler showed him a "first draft" of the script. Sandler later said the actor was not supposed to announce this publicly.

Adam Sandler is returning for 'Happy Gilmore 2,' Netflix confirms: What we know

Speaking on "The Tonight Show" in September, Qualley joked her husband Jack Antonoff "lied" by telling Sandler she could play golf to get her a part in the film because the original is her favorite movie. The "Substance" actress stressed it's a "tiny" role, though, and that she is "essentially deep background."

Sandler, meanwhile, confirmed on "The Tonight Show," "We have a nice something for Travis (Kelce). He's gonna come by. He's a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life."
