Handy dad builds the most epic cubby house ever

When a cubby house is bigger than someone’s average Sydney apartment you know you’ve created a masterpiece.

That’s exactly what dad-of-two Adam Boyd has achieved after building what is possibly the most epic cubby house ever seen.

After leaving his construction job and needing something to do, with two little girls, Avery, 5, and Violet, 2, he thought building a cubby house in their Michigan backyard would do the trick.

But he never imagined it would turn into a lavish two-story mansion, complete with swings, a climbing wall, and it’s very own slide.

“As I was building and building, I just kept on thinking about my girls, and wanting them to be proud of something I built,” Adam told TODAY.

The cubby has now become much of a hangout for the entire family and has even sparked a new career move for the devoted dad, who created a construction company specialising in cubbies - Spoiled Rotten Homes.

“I figured people would think it's way too over-the-top, but I'm getting a lot of positive feedback,” he said.
